| The State of Ohio needs to withdraw from the Patriot Act. Repeal the Real Id Act 2005 and the Pass Act. Our Government is working very hard to make a police state. Making an individual's social security number digital is disastrous. Once your social security number is digital and the expansion of the Paper Reduction act will make your medical records and banking also digital. Currently this is happening with the State of Ohio driver's license. The Real Id was passed into law on May 11, 2005. This piece of legislation gives the Department of Home Land Security total control over state Department of Motor Vehicles. Also this department has the ability to put Biometrics and Radio Frequency Identification Devices on your driver's license without the consent of Congress, who make the laws. Currently the state of Ohio is issuing pink driver's licenses that say USA driver's license. The state of Ohio is progressively issuing a National Identification Card. There are currently 21 states that refuse The Real ID Act. The government states that all States that refuse to comply will lose Federal government amenities, but the government also contests this is voluntary. This act is a sleeper, and Americans need to be stand up for their freedom. Once your ID is digital a law enforcement officer or a person that wants to steal your identity can scan you and know your identity. This is 4th amendment tyranny. Illegal search and seizure. Imagine being at a gun show and there are 300 digital ID's in attendance. It would take less than 5 minutes to scan everyone in the building and then download the information into a computer which will relinquish the history and names of each individual. Same method would apply at restaurants, walking on the streets, etc.. Those who do not have proper digital identification will be arrested until the individual can be properly identified. Is this the America you want? As your representative I will repeal all legislation that resembles any National Identification. This act of tyranny infringes your 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 9th and 10th amendments and Article I Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. | |
