The home of the free only applies to those who are not American citizens. While poverty, hunger, and homelessness do exist, our country looks like a third world country. While Americans are demanded to pay for social programs for our American citizens we as tax payers are also held accountable to pay for the 14 million who are in America illegally. The Department of Motor Vehicle issues illegal immigrants driver's licences, 60,000 last year. llegal immigrants drive without auto insurance and create accidents. This practice is driving up health care cost and insurance premiums for the tax payer. Illegal immigrants are provided health care, schooling, immunizations, food, social security, all these benefits at the tax payers expense. As Representative of the State of Ohio I do not propose amnesty for illegal immigrants. The opportunity to be an American is not a right, it is a privilege, the process should be done legally.
