| I propose the removal of all sales tax from farm machinery equipment, feed for livestock and also remove the yearly tax on farm machinery. Farming is the back bone of humanity, taxing farmers adds to the total cost of the product and the consumer pays the added tax. As state representative I propose the removal of property tax. If property that is ours why are paying rent on something we own? The government is making the individual a consumer instead of a producer, which is why the Fair Tax is needed. Eliminating property tax will allow the individual to start a small business and the ability to save money, hire employees, pay for college, or put the money back into the economy. By removing all sources of income, which is happening, this is making the citizens of Ohio dependant on the government through amenities and entitlements at the expense of those who work. The system is unsustainable and without action our economy will only get worse. | |
